Managing Your UMA Account & Bank

Modified on Tue, 23 Sep at 11:11 AM

This article explains how to manage your UMA address and update your payment settings.

What banks are supported for deposits?

  • Only banks that support the Real-Time Payments (RTP) network are currently available.

  • This includes most major U.S. institutions such as Chase, Bank of America, and many regional banks.

  • A full list of participating banks can be found here: RTP Participating Financial Institutions.

Note: You will not be able to receive UMA payments unless a bank account is connected.

How do I change my UMA address?

  • Log in to your UMA account.

  • Go to Settings in the top right corner.

  • Navigate to the section titled Your UMA.

  • Click the Edit button (pencil icon) to update your UMA address.

  • Select the option to "Update UMA".

  • You’re all set — your UMA address has been updated.

Do I have to authorize payments to my bank account to receive payments?

Yes. To receive automatic deposits, you must agree to the Zero Hash Real-Time Payments (RTP) Authorization Agreement during setup.
