How to Replace or Change Your Bank Connection in UMA

If you need to replace or change the bank connected to your UMA account, follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your UMA account


Step 2: Go to Settings

  • Once logged in, navigate to Settings in the top right corner


Step 3: Open Payment Settings

  • Scroll down to Payment settings

  • Click the blue "Replace" button


Step 4: Connect Your New Bank via Plaid

  • A Plaid window will appear

  • Choose your financial institution

  • Follow the prompts to connect your new account


Step 5: Complete Verification

  • After completing Plaid’s verification steps, click Continue


Step 6: Confirm New Bank Connection

  • You will now see the new account listed under Payment settings

  • You are now able to send and receive payments on UMA using your newly connected bank account!
