Refunds for expired or failed money transfers

Introduction

If your money transfer expired or failed and was not received, it has been refunded automatically. You do not need to take any action to request the refund.

The refund is processed immediately but can take 3-5 business days to reach the sender's account.

When will I see the refund?

Refunds usually appear in your SoFi account within 3-5 business days. In some cases, it may take a little longer depending on processing times.

Please check your account balance and recent transaction history for the refunded amount.

What to do if you do not see the refund

If you do not see the refund after 3-5 business days, contact SoFi Support for an update on your funds.

Please include your transaction ID when you reach out so SoFi Support can look into it quickly.
